Sarah Kench has extensive experience advising clients on all aspects of private client work and enjoys helping clients with Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration, Lifetime and Estate Planning and Deeds of Variation. She excels in providing practical solutions and straightforward guidance tailored to both high net worth families and those with more modest estates.
Sarah guides her clients through often sensitive and complex matters with care, clarity and understanding, supporting them and their families during what can be difficult and emotional times.
Sarah trained with a leading regional law firm and qualified as a Solicitor in 2008. She has worked locally in Horsham for large regional firms since qualifying and has recently joined Starke Family Law, heading up the Private Client team here.
Before pursuing a legal career, Sarah’s first degree was in French at the University of Liverpool and following this she enjoyed a successful career working in the publishing sector. Making the move to law allowed Sarah to combine intellectual challenge with the opportunity to help clients during important and often emotional life events.
Away from the office, Sarah lives in Horsham where she has been based for many years. She is a keen theatre and musical theatre enthusiast, regularly enjoying shows in London and at local venues—and takes to the stage singing on an amateur basis when time allows. Formerly a keen horse rider since childhood, Sarah now spends her spare time following cross-country events from a safe distance, looking after her son’s extensive gecko population and balancing family life generally with cultural pursuits.
